About this template
THIS IS A SLAB CUTTING GUIDE — printable pottery form templates. Every design includes PDF templates plus SVG vector files (one per size). It is not a glaze stencil or surface pattern — decorative glaze designs are sold separately in our stencil listing.
You print the pages, cut the paper pieces, trace them onto clay, and build the form with score-and-slip.

The download is organized in folders, one per design. Every design folder contains:
• US Letter PDF template
• A4 PDF template
• 4 SVG vector files (one per size)
• README with size guide and assembly notes

PRINTING
Print at 100% / actual size — NOT fit-to-page. Every template page has a scale-check box: measure it with a ruler before you cut. If it doesn't match the labeled size, reprint at 100%.
SVG FILES
Each design folder includes one SVG per size — full template-page vector exports. They open in Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator, Cricut Design Space, and Silhouette Studio. For cutting machines, ungroup the artwork and use the outer template outline as your cut line; labels and text are separate paths you can hide or delete.
Finished size on each page is a guide — clay shrinks in drying and firing (typically 5-12% depending on your clay body). Food, heat, outdoor, or water-tight finish depends on your clay, glaze, firing, and studio testing.

What changed: the earlier files' measurements were wrong, so all 10 designs have been replaced with corrected editions. Each design now has its own named size options (listed on its info page together with finished sizes) instead of the Mini / Small / Standard / Large percent ladder described above, and each adds a print-scale table for different clay shrinkage. The download now contains the two kit PDFs (US Letter + A4) and a START-HERE guide; it no longer uses per-design folders and this corrected edition does not include SVG files — any folder or SVG description above no longer applies. If you bought this kit before, re-download from your Etsy Purchases page to get the corrected files free.
